Carnival Corporation & plc, the world’s largest leisure travel company, was honored when its Center for Simulator Maritime Training (CSMART) Academy received the SAFETY4SEA EUROPORT Training Award for 2019. The recognition, presented at the 2019 EUROPORT conference in Rotterdam, Netherlands, marks the second consecutive year the CSMART Academy has been recognized for excellence in maritime safety training. Rear Admiral Bill Truelove, managing director for CSMART Academy, along with fellow CSMART Academy team members Stanislav Davidov, Petra Kendall, Caitlyn Kennedy and Angelique Vrij, accepted the award on behalf of Carnival Corporation at the Rotterdam Ahoy convention center.
